Quiet and cozy.
Combining the elegance of Relais & Châteaux with a location in the historic section (specify the historic building) of our property, these rooms are the heart and soul of the Hôtel du Lion d’Or 1774. Discreet and well-preserved, they exude the charm of distinctive buildings with unique layouts opening onto our inner courtyard, offering a quiet and more intimate retreat.
Featuring high-end amenities, a bathroom with a shower, and a king-size bed, each room takes your journey a step further with its unique layout and decor. They feature a contemporary design in warm colors, accented with antique details, wood paneling, contemporary fabric canopies, sunburst mirrors, or Second Empire mirrors—these rooms are designed for two guests.

Spacious and comfortable.
The spacious Family Junior Suites can accommodate up to 4 people (2 adults and 2 children). The air-conditioned rooms face west and overlook the city. Each room features a contemporary canopy bed with a sunburst mirror at the headboard, as well as a sitting area with a sofa bed or a single bed. In one of the rooms, the bed is located in a small separate sitting area.
The bathroom is equipped with a large corner bathtub or a walk-in shower. Elevator access (first and second floors). One of the two rooms is accessible to guests with limited mobility.

Spacious and elegant, these Signature rooms are air-conditioned and south-facing, with a view of the garden. An 18th-century wood-paneled headboard faces a mirrored wall above a sitting area with a sofa (not a sleeper sofa)

Elegant and bright.
The Signature Rooms with Balcony are air-conditioned and face south-southeast, all overlooking the garden. A balcony terrace offers a panoramic view of the inner courtyard and all the buildings in the Renaissance wing. Eighteenth-century wood paneling forms the headboard, or a contemporary canopy bed with carved stone capitals.
Some rooms feature a bow window furnished with a chaise longue and an armchair. All bathrooms, equipped with a bathtub and a separate walk-in shower, are decorated with antique terracotta tiles.
Breakfast at the Lion d’Or 1774 is a gourmet experience where the hotel’s kitchen showcases local products. On the menu: fresh pastries, homemade jams, goat cheese from Sologne, local cold cuts, and other sweet treats (madeleines, shortbread).
Served from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the dining room or on the terrace, this breakfast is also available to non-hotel guests by reservation.
Our room service is available for in-room dining, except on Mondays.
